I don't know who put the "CINDERSAUR THAT IS NOT APPROPRIATE" caption on that picture, but damn if I didn't laugh for a solid minute. --63.246.176.138 01:23, 11 July 2010 (EDT)

Tried to add disambiguation template...

But got this message:

Gender.

So Alpha Trion Cindersaur uses "her". Micronus uses "his". Also of note is that the Spanish-language description on the back of the packaging refers to Cindersaur as a "guerrero"--- a male warrior. Ditto for Portuguese--- "guerreiro". French is "guerrier", I don't know if that implies gender or not. But either way... there's a discrepancy somewhere. What do? "They"/"Them" until something confirming one way or the other? - TBR (talk) 19:09, 23 June 2018 (EDT)
Wait and see until all the cards are released, I think. See which pronoun is used over the other more often. Escargon (talk) 20:05, 23 June 2018 (EDT)
Given the mix of pronouns within something probably meant to describe the same character, I'm a fan of they/them, with a note (like the one we have now, really) specifying where the conflict comes from. Unless we really want to do he/her//his/hersAkibaSilver (talk) 20:10, 23 June 2018 (EDT)
The French "guerrier" is masculine as well. So far, the Micronus card and the three foreign languages make four male sources compared to the lone female source in the Alpha Trion card. I agree that we should wait and see what the remaining cards say on the matter, but also note that the description for Cindersaur given in Issue #245 of Figure King also strongly suggests the POTP toy to be the same character as the G1 Firecon who, as this very Wiki article will attest, has historically been male. --Sabrblade (talk) 22:51, 23 June 2018 (EDT)
While I think it's likely that the toy is meant to be male, I wouldn't consider the three foreign languages three sources. It's the same text repeated three times. DuplexBeGreat (talk) 23:24, 23 June 2018 (EDT)

Cindersaur's face, at the very least, is designed to be female. Escargon (talk) 23:47, 23 June 2018 (EDT)

Yes. And friggin' WHAT at the multilingual card being counted as three distinct sources. --ItsWalky (talk) 02:17, 24 June 2018 (EDT)
