In a world full of strife we must fight to survive!

Dairu probably plays prehistoric heroic music.

Studio Series

  • Bumblebee Vol. 1 Retro Rock Garage (3-pack, 2018)
    • Number: 19
    • Accessories: Left & right blasters
Studio Series Dairu is a seemingly straight reissue of Dile, transforming into what appears to be an aqua-green Iguanodon. Two silver-chromed blasters plug into the faux cassette tape holes near his neck. In tape mode, he fits into the chest compartment of the original Blaster or Soundwave (and their retooled reincarnations). Dairu forms the upper body of an unnamed combiner with Uruaz. His weapons become over-shoulder artillery in this mode.
He was only available in a San Diego Comic-Con 2018 exclusive box set, alongside Uruaz and a chromed Bumblebee.
He was redecoed into Studio Series Bumblebee Vol. 2 Retro Pop Highway Uraid.

Notes

  • "Dairu" is the direct romanization of Dile's original Japanese name "ダイル". That name is in turn the back half of "crocodile" in Japanese and/or is wordplay on the back half of "reptile" in Japanese. It is not the Japanese rendering of "dial".
