A beauty with brains, a penchant for fixing cars (and handicapped Autobots with a way to shoot) and with looks strong enough to make Sam Witwicky offer to "ride" her home in Bumblebee. Does not seem to mind being made out with on top of an alien car.
She'll drive, you shoot. Saucy. Everyone wins (except the Decepticons, but that's the point).
Mikaela learned how to fix cars from her father, a long-time car thief. When he couldn't find a babysitter, he'd bring young Mikaela along, and she learned his trade. She hides her automotive knowledge from her boyfriends, for fear that they will be insecure around a girl who knows more about cars than they do. She is also afraid of being thought "shallow," to which Sam awkwardly replies that he thinks that there is "more than meets the eye...to...you." As of the start of the film, she has a police record that she hides from everyone. She eventually confides to Sam that she was arrested while trying to rescue her dad from some trouble. Sam has her criminal record expunged as part of his reward for helping Sector Seven with the information he has about the Transformers.
