Throne of the Primes

After being chosen as Cybertron's next leader by the Matrix of Leadership, Optimus Primal sits upon the Throne of the Primes whenever he has to pull rank in the most grandiose and overbearing of ways. The throne is connected to the Halo of Primus, which presumably allows it to channel some sort of divine power from the Thirteen Primes.

• Throne of the Primes (Leader Class, 2018)

The Throne of the Primes is a cardboard throne decorated with vine patterns that comprises the inner packaging of the SDCC 2018 exclusive Power of the Primes Optimus Primal set. It features artwork of the faces of the eight other competitors in the 2017 fan vote for the next Prime along the sides — Arcee, Ultra Magnus, Hound, Shockwave, Megatron, Star Saber, Thunderwing, and Unknown Evil. The throne also includes a plastic insert molded to the shape of Primal's derriere, but this portion is removable and is not required for Primal to sit on the throne. The backrest of the throne is connected to the Halo of Primus, a circular rotating plastic insert that can accomodate twelve Prime Masters.
