Finback

Finback is a Decepticon Pretender in the Generation 1 continuity family.

A wretched, badly-assembled junkheap-to-be, this pitiful Pretender depends on his outer shell to hold his poorly attached body together. Despite this, he is a willing combatant; inflicting pain, suffering and misery on others is the only thing that alleviates his own anguish. Unique Pretender shell resembles a monstrous fish-creature and is specially designed; not only is it pressure-sensitive, enabling Finback to dive to depths of 30,000 feet, it is only composed of "living" mecha-organisms, which enables the shell to regenerate and thus ensure protection for Finback's circuitry. Transforms into a high-speed hovercraft equipped with specialised scanners. Wields a jet-propelled armour-piercing harpoon gun and a metal-corroding stun rifle.
