Sanctuary Station is a space station from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Located in orbit around Jupiter, Sanctuary Station is the centerpiece of Soundwave's vision of the Decepticon cause: a commune for them to call home.

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Sanctuary Station came under attack from Bludgeon and his Maximal armada as they proceeded to Earth. As it was unarmed, the station had no way of defending itself and was on the verge of destruction when Cosmos, Laserbeak, Buzzsaw, and Sky-Byte volunteered to defend the station until their dying moment, allowing around thirty of the station's inhabitants to flee to Earth in escape pods.

The team of four were soon gunned down by the mutated Worldsweepers, and the station was last seen burning up as it fell into Jupiter's atmosphere, completely destroyed. Road's End
