[edit]The Malignus, along with the Guardians, were one of two factions participating in the Second Cybertronian War. Ariex, leader of the military caste, attempted a coup against the Guardian leadership and botched it. Though the Malignus lost, their legacy remained in the form of the Old Malignus language. [edit]- The Malignus are inspired by the similarly named faction from Estrela's Brazilian version of the Generation 1 toyline. This is why their language is identical to Portuguese.
