Josie Firmin

Josie Firmin is a British artist from a family of artists; her father, Peter Firmin, created a number of children's shows including the Clangers, for which her mother knitted the title characters, and her five sisters are also artists. Josie was educated in textile design at Winchester Art School, after which she gained employment colouring comics for Marvel, including Transformers and Care Bears. She paints china, and currently runs two china stores named Cosmo China which sell the work of a collective of artists, including herself and one of her sisters. She also writes and illustrates children's books, and teaches art.
