Scotty is a Federation-aligned human from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Scotty is an engineer on the starship Enterprise. Please bear in mind that he is most certainly not a miracle worker, and he cannot change the laws of physics.

• According to Transformers: Cybertron writer David McDermott, the engineering-minded residents of Gigantion were all given Scottish accents in homage to Scotty.
