Things like category and link changes should really be done as minor edits, so people can hide them on the Recent Changes page. Especially when you do dozens of them at once. - Dark T Zeratul 09:25, 11 June 2007 (UTC)

Also, you can save yourself a lot of time by asking me to have the DiagnosticDrone do it. He can easily do repetitive tasks such as adding/removing categories, text replacements, etc.. Provide a list of pages you want fixed, or say "all pages in this category should be changed", or "anything that links to this should be fixed" or something and I can have it done with almost zero effort in almost no time and without it clogging up the changes page. --Steve-o 21:15, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
I've asked Steve-o for mass changes if it was anything over 15 links to be changed-- both because it's easier for the 'bot to do it, and because the bot's actions are hidden in history. (he fixed all the Bumblebee links when we got a move version.) -Derik 21:27, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
