Swindle is a known con artist, but his fellow Combaticons don't seem to mind, as they let him be a part of the powerful Bruticus Maximus. Swindle travels all over the galaxy collecting items that he thinks may have value. He has no limits to find or steal something from another bot, even if it means taking them offline. While the other Combaticons don't really approve of this, they let him do it out of fear of what would happen to them. But wait, there's more! While most of his Combaticon brethren focus on ground attacks, Swindle terrorizes his enemies in the air (To get them to buy some Swindle Endorsed Products of course!)

Revenge of the Fallen Swindle is a redeco of Energon Blackout and Stormcloud, transforming into an assault helicopter somewhat similar to an AH-1 Cobra. He was available with the Revenge of the Fallen Bruticus Maximus giftset, and when combined with the other Combaticons, Swindle forms a limb. He has dollar signs ($) tampographed on the air intake housings flanking his cockpit.

The mold was also redecoed into Classics Topspin and Revenge of the Fallen Vortex. Revenge of the Fallen Swindle and Vortex are indistinguishable from Universe (2008) Swindle and Vortex. Another planned redeco, movie Reverb, was canceled.
