Ramjet attempts to recruit both Dark Scorponok and Skyfall.

Synopsis

Advancing on Skyfall, Scorponok shrugs off an Energon blast, and smacks down on Skyfall...only to be stopped by the Velocitronian's force field. Getting angrier and angrier, the undead Terrorcon pummels him further and further down into the ground, and blasts some of the surrounding towers, burying Skyfall under the rubble. Still hungry, Dark Scorponok's attention is caught by Thunderclash, who promises to lead him the fuel he desires, while Thunderwing messages Ramjet about the battle...

2 mega cycles later, at the Kalis Primary Energon Reserves Control, Sentinel Maximus and Vector Prime enter the abandoned facility, believing this to be Ramjet's primary target. Setting about to try and turn on the auto-cannons, they are watched by Thunderclash, who has led Dark Scorponok right to them. The outside has not been left unguarded, however, as Safeguard bravely leaps down and attacks. Calling on Sentinel Maximus for backup, the two engage.

Meanwhile, Ramjet tells the Scrapmetals of Dark Scorponok's affliction: forced by an insatiable desire to feed, feeling no pain, and spreading the infliction to others upon whom he feeds. Finishing his story, Skyfall finally rises up from under the rubble. Ramjet seemingly recognizes the traveler, although his systems recognize him as someone else. Questioning the herald, Skyfall is told a lot has changed on Cybertron since he was last here....

Notes

Transformers references

  • Kalis is a city from the Marvel UK Transformers comics.

Other notes

  • The red Scrapmetals are joined by blue and yellow ones this chapter, and all three are now in more toy-accurate colours to boot.
  • The Mini-Cons are depicted as talking, although in Safeguard's case, it's like the comic just "translating" his speech, as he was always depicted in the Cybertron cartoon as speaking the standard "beep-and-boop" Mini-Con language.
