"When I was a girl, I had a fear of spiders. I was told they felt no emotion, that their hearts never beat, but I know the truth. At the moment of the kill, they are never more alive."

Shadow Striker has a nasty mean streak to her. Her face seems in a perpetual glare, and she calls any Autobot she sees a fool. Bumblebee doesn't understand why she's so aggressive, even compared to her Decepticon comrades. Generally speaking, though; if she has a weapon, it's best advised to steer clear of her.

Shadow Striker was a patron of MacCadam's Old Oil house before and during the Autobot-Decepticon war. Apparently she had some fondness for Polyhex's Cube team, as she argued with Hot Rod over who should've won the latest match. Maccadam's At some point, she and her Seeker guards were entrusted with the captured Optimus Prime. During a brief absence, Autobot scout Bumblebee took out her guards and freed Optimus. Having discovered Bumblebee's intrusion, Shadow Striker pursued him and Prime, but a shot from Bumblebee's blaster ignited a tank of energon that demolished the building and left her and her guards in pieces. She was later found in the wreckage by Shockwave and repaired using pieces from her guards, a fact which she resents. Unfortunately, these parts replacing her own were faulty, and hindered her combat skills. Later, she was aboard a crashing tanker ship when Bumblebee tried to pilot it to avert it's collision into Iacon City. Shadow Striker confronted the scout to take her revenge. Bumblebee pointed out an exposed energon pipe, and Shadow Striker ignited it with her blaster out of spite. This resulted in her and Bumblebee being caught under rubble. Bumblebee escaped, and freed Shadow Striker out of mercy. She made another attempt on Bumblebee's life, but was shot in the face by Grimlock.Shadowstriker Sporting her replacement parts, Shadow Striker participated in the Decepticons' attack on the Cybertron space bridge, and attempted to attack Bumblebee, but was quickly dispatched by Windblade. Notes

  • This is the first major usage of the name "Shadow Striker", having only been used previously for a convention exclusive and an obscure Target exclusive, all of whom are female Decepticons with sports car-like altmodes.
  • In the cartoon's credits, her name is spelled Shadowstriker, but all merchandise and preliminary material render her name as Shadow Striker.
  • All of her toy iterations use her design from before the events of the flashback in Shadowstriker, favouring the more cohesive design over the pieced-together design used from then on.
