Vapor eel

Vapor eels are animals from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Vapor eels are green, elongated life forms that inhabit the vapor oceans of Spindrift, specifically in the Howling Blashie. They are hunted for their meat.

IDW Generation 1 continuity

The crew of the bloomship Murkdipper were capturing vapor eels when a boilstorm struck and a cloud leviathan attacked. During the confusion, some captured vapor eels fell off the ship and one vapor eel ripped off a crewman's arm with its mouth. Heart of Darkness #3
