- The Battle of Junkion is a battle from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Battle of Junkion took place during the Great War, a "forgotten skirmish" between Prowl's Autobots and Shockwave's Decepticons in the wastelands of Junkion... a skirmish, that, ultimately, the planet did not survive.

At some point after Megatron returned from his exile on the planet Junkion, having recruited the natives into his army, the planet found itself embroiled in the Transformer war once more when the two warring factions turned the planet into a battleground—a battle that pitted the two logical commanders against each other and the chaotic death world.
The battle came to an abrupt conclusion when one side wired the planet's gravimetric core to detonate, shattering the planet as both sides retreated. At least one tribe of Junkion survivors came under the guidance of Wreck-Gar and his consort Rum-Maj, who subsequently took up a nomadic existence. A Lonely Pillar on the Plain

- Other participants in the battle included Hardhead, Delta Seeker, Hot Spot, Manta Ray, Greatshot, and Silverbolt; on the Decepticon side of things, Shockwave's army counted X-Gunner, Octopunch, Fangry, and Weirdwolf among its ranks.
