Delta Seeker

Delta Seeker is an Autobot Cyberjet from the Generation 1 continuity family.
Leave me alone, Robin van Persie!

Delta Seeker (デルタシーカー Deruta Shīkā) is one crafty Cyberjet. He has been nicknamed "the battlefield magician", due to his teleportation ability and other unique skills. He hopes to convince his former friend X-Gunner to return to the Autobots. Unfortunately, X-Gunner has become obsessed with the idea of crushing Delta Seeker in combat so he can take his former ally's "Gauntlet Frame" missile launcher to upgrade his own, so a switch back to the side of the "good guys" would seem... unlikely.<ref>Robotmasters Delta Seeker bio</ref>

Starscream, Wingstun, and X-Gunner approached the patrolling Autobots Optimus Primal, R-Blade, and Delta Seeker, and apparently wanted to have a test of air-speed. Leaving Optimus in their wake, the five jet-form Transformers took off, with the Decepticons ahead. R-Blade used a special spinning technique to get ahead of the Decepticons, and generated a smokescreen, giving Delta Seeker the chance to knock all three out of the sky. Metrowars

[edit]

While Delta Seeker was stationed at Scramble City during its rebuilding following an attack from Metrotitan, the Decepticons attacked again. With fellow Cyberjets R-Blade and Jetfire, Delta Seeker helped defend the city. He came into personal confrontation with X-Gunner himself, who succeeded at taking his Gauntlet Frame. At the battle's conclusion, Delta Seeker swore he would get revenge on X-Gunner for his mutilation. Metrowars

Delta Seeker was sent to Space Point X near Earth to investigate mysterious radio signals, where he found what seemed to be a simple artificial satellite. However, Delta Seeker was in for a surprise when it fired a beam that barely missed and X-Gunner emerged. X-Gunner revealed that the satellite was a secret Decepticon base and fired a stock of his new homing missiles. Using some ingenuity, Delta Seeker led the missiles to the satellite, where they destroyed it upon impact. Robotmasters Vol. 6

Delta-Seeker was a member of the Elite Guard Recon Team under Roadfire's leadership. Highly unsatisfied with his present assignment, Delta-Seeker made repeated requests to Sentinel Major to transfer him to the Stealth Team.

On one of his recon assignments, he was evaluating conversations overheard at a local bar when he picked up on an over-eager and overly loud Decepticon named Take-Off hunting for a starship. The boasting flunkie talked about how his leader, Decepticon Warlord Gutcruncher, was going after a meteor of incredible power entering Cybertronian space. Despite being spotted by Take-Off and his contact, Axer, Delta-Seeker managed to bring the information back to Elite Guard headquarters. A Team Effort

Notes

[edit]
  • While the official Romanization obscures the fact a little, Delta Seeker does use the same "letter-word" name format as his fellow Robotmasters Cyberjets R-Blade and X-Gunner: you could alternatively Romanize his name as "Δ-Seeker".
