Bereaved when the Cybertronian race invaded his home planet of Antilla, the Antillan known only as "Unicron's creator" turned his rage and grief against the galaxy by transforming his world into the all-destroying Unicron.

When Onyx Prime and his Cybertronian army invaded Antilla, the scientist's family, including his daughter, was killed in the conflict. Ceremony Realizing that the conflict would only end in the extinction of their species, the scientist constructed a doomsday device to would destroy all life on Antilla, organic and mechanical alike, and transform what remained into the super-weapon Unicron. The scientist, however, lived on in Infraspace at the heart of Unicron, and his will led the monster-planet to attack and consume each of Cybertron's colony worlds when Unicron was awakened millions of years later.
