Animated cartoon continuity
Known inmates in cell block D-63 of Trypticon Prison include Cryotek, Rampage, Beta, Zero and the mysterious ManBearPig.[1] The AllSpark Almanac II Megatron, Lugnut, and Shockwave were later incarcerated in Trypticon Prison following their defeat at the hands of Optimus Prime and his Autobots while the Decepticons were on Earth.
Sometime later, Strika orchestrated a daring escape plan that involved Team Stunticon being reformatted into Autobot body-types by Oil Slick and Scalpel. However, thanks to the cunning detective work of Autobots Sideswipe and Cheetor, as well as some extra help from Optimus himself, Wildrider, Drag Strip, Breakdown, Dead End, and Toxitron were all taken into custody and locked up in Trypticon Prison alongside their master Megatron. However, The Motor Master, the head Stunticon, took Sideswipe hostage and threatened to scrap the Autobot unless Megatron was released from custody. Sideswipe was able to knock out Motor Master using Optimus' axe in retaliation for trying to offline him on his last day before retirement, and Motor Master himself was also locked away in Trypticon with the other Stunticons and Decepticons. While sitting in their jail cells, Shockwave discovered that his failsafe Kremzeek program had been activated and was out to destroy Cybertron. When questioned by Megatron about the reasoning behind the program, Shockwave admited that the Decepticons were not supposed to be on Cybertron when it activated. The Return of Blurr

Notes
- Trypticon Prison would've appeared in the unproduced fourth season of the Animated cartoon, where it would have been teleported to Earth by Megatron as part of a huge prison break.[2] It wouldn't be the last time that the concept of Decepticon prisoners unleashed on Earth would surface.
