Reflectron is an Energonicon from the Angry Birds Transformers series.
Definitely not a thornax fruit.

The mere sight of Reflectron ought to make any Minion Pig think twice about shooting at the Autobird or Deceptihog it's accompanying. But seeing as how they barely think once before opening fire, they very quickly figure out why it's a bad idea when Reflectron hits them just as hard as they hit their target.

Angry Birds Transformers

[edit]

Reflectron can be created at the Pig Lab in Hogs Head Mountain with Materials, though it's a bit of a roulette spin to actually earn it. You may get Coins or Gems instead.

When activated, Reflectron creates a field that causes any damage inflicted on the player to bounce back to the enemy that inflicted it. This is mostly effective against blaster-carrying pigs, usually popping them with a single bounceback. Walking Mortar Towers take heavy damage from this but it usually takes a bit more to crack them. Obviously, this has no useful effect on the suicide-bomber balloon pigs, missiles or the falling Monoliths. The effect only lasts a few seconds, dictated by its stored energon level: the more energon stored upon activation, the longer the field lasts.

It's important to remember that Reflectron does not prevent the player from taking damage from enemy attacks. You're not invulnerable while it's in effect. So maybe don't rely on it against those Mortar Towers too much. Angry Birds Transformers

Notes

[edit]
  • Reflectron's power makes it one of the most effective weapons against Unicron Pig. While the big floating head won't take damage while his shield is up, once he's vulnerable, a single flaming pig's worth of damage to the player is bounced back, which does extensive damage to Unicron Pig. One pig isn't quite enough to force him to put his shield back up, but it's dang close, so follow up with an attack fast. Unfortunately, as the appearance of Unicron Pig is random-chance during most Challenge Events, it's not like you can plan for it. And those flaming pigs still hurt you a fair bit, so don't get reckless. High risk, but (potential) high reward.
