Soon after arriving on campus, Sam Witwicky attended a party at Delta Fraternity where Alice tried to seduce him, but by that time Sam was trying to leave to make his chat appointment with Mikaela Banes. They were interrupted by Bumblebee who had arrived and had parked himself on the lawn of the house, honking to get Sam's attention. Sam left with Bumblebee to meet with Optimus Prime. Leo Spitz, Fassbinder, Sharsky, and a reluctant Sam went to their first frat party. Sam was distracted by the fact that he had to leave early for a web-cam date with Mikaela. After a while of cautiously drinking punch and eating snacks (suspicious of what added special ingredients they might contain), Sam went into a mini-trance, tracing strange symbols into the frosting on some cup cakes. His concentration was broken by Alice, who asked him to dance. Sam made a series of excuses not to, including having a girlfriend. Alice was persistent and eventually dragged him onto the dance floor. Sam became late for his web-cam date.

Sam eventually noticed the time and began to leave the party in a panic. Just then a senior member of the fraternity was yelling trying to find the owner of a yellow Camaro. It was Bumblebee parked on top of the bushes and wailing his car alarm. When other frat guys saw that the car belonged to a freshman, they became rather upset.
