Marvel The Transformers comics

Elpasos appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.

The Autobots put up wanted posters of Galvatron on Elpasos. Death's Head noticed one of them when he visited one of the planet's bars. Enlightened as to the story behind it by the bartender, he set out to capture the Decepticon and claim the reward. Wanted: Galvatron — Dead or Alive!

The Autobots and Decepticons fought over Elpasos during the "total war" phase of the Great War, during which Optimus Prime and Megatron directed their troops from omniglobes that were said to receive information down "to the wind direction on an Elpasian battlefield". Rules of Disengagement

According to Rodimus, a "freelance peacekeeping agent" matching the description of Death's Head resided on Elpasos. Filling in the Blanks

Notes

  • The planet Elpasos was presumably also intended to be the setting for Marvel UK's 1-page, copyright-saving "High Noon Tex" strip published immediately prior to Death's Head's first actual Transformers appearance. There, Death's Head's antagonist "Tex" was a mechanoid cowboy, and El Paso is a real city in Texas.
