Fiction

Bumblebee film

Actor: Len Cariou

When Charlie visited to see what new items had come in, Hank asserted that the Russians were going to blow everything up anyway. After she retrieved some parts and offered him thirty dollars for them, Hank objected, but as ALF was about to start, he accepted her argument that he didn't have any customers, and began complaining about the new communication tower interfering with the reception on his handheld television.

A day later she returned to try to persuade him to give her the derelict Volkswagen he had out back. He turned down her suggestion she could work for him for free for a year and instead gave her the car. She managed to get the heap of junk working, and as she drove off, Bill pointed out the car was a death trap, but Hank was just happy that Charlie was finally happy. Bumblebee

Uncle Hank's involvement in the preceding events, or events mostly similar, was also chronicled in the novel "Transformers: Bumblebee: The Junior Novel".
