Megatron, misunderstanding their name, eventually went on to recruit them for the assault on the Hall of Records.

The Iacon Wreckers are a Cube team on Cybertron. They play for Iacon.

They played against Polyhex city's Cube team in the world championship match. Their game was interrupted by a cube with rouge A.I. a la Starscream. The game was eventually saved by Bumblebee when he captured and held down the rogue ball - er, cube. Cube

Notes

• In Cyberverse, the team was only referred to as "Iacon City". Hopefully it is safe to assume based on Rescue Bots Academy that the team is also called the Wreckers in Cyberverse.
• They are, of course, named after the Wreckers, much like real-life sports teams are named after various things to intimidate opponents.
