Bumblebee is the youngest, yellowest, and most fearless and energetic of the Autobots...again. When Optimus Prime's crew first encountered a Decepticon spaceship he insisted that they were repair-bots and were not programmed for fighting, however that apparently changed for Bumblebee as he becomes known for the phrase "Enough talk, it's time for action!" and considers talking to be boring compared to the rush of rushing towards combat or attacking an enemy with style, although many would call him 'over-eager.'
Talking seems to be okay when it means Bumblebee gets to crack wise though. He pals around with Bulkhead and seems to easily get on Ratchet's nerves.

Transformers Animated cartoon
- Voice actor: Bumper Robinson
Bumblebee can save a little girl from a rampaging slug creature and retain his cheerfulness and good humor while doing so. He also calls Optimus "Big Bot"... sounds familiar.
His hands can transform into laser guns (apparently called energy stingers), which he uses for welding, and he has a faceplate—probably also for welding. Not for battles. But IF he gets into battles, despite the fact that he maintains that he's a repair-bot and not programmed for combat, he can slide the mask into place and put those lasers to good use.

- Bumblebee (Deluxe, 2008)
- Bumblebee will be yellow, look a bit like the little car from Lupin the Third, (and a little like a smart car) and have these cute little rocket booster pods that can go on either side. It seriously looks to be the cutest Transformer ever (right up there with Moon). He cheats a bit in robot mode, with a fake car roof chest. He will not have a faceplate on the toy. Just a smirk.
