Rubble is a newly-born Cybertronian, friends with Bumblebee and Windblade. Enthusiastic to experience his world, he encounters a historic era of sociopolitical upheaval.

A newly forged Cybertronian, Rubble was assigned to Bumblebee's watch as he took his first trek outside the city, accompanying his mentor to an energon processing facility overseen by Brainstorm. The trip was heavily delayed by the wide-opticed Rubble taking in all the sights, everything from scaling gigantic corpses to meeting Voin scavengers, his meeting with the aliens coinciding with the arrival of Windblade whom Rubble was very eager to meet. As night fell, the trio arrived at the processing plant only to witness signs of a break-in. Though Rubble was ordered to stay put, he wandered off when he heard a sparking wire, which led him to Brainstorm's corpse. The World In Your Eyes Part One
