When Megatron and Cobra Commander steal the Matrix, Optimus Prime and the Autobots receive some unexpected help!
Synopsis
Megatron, with the help of Cobra Commander, has stolen the Matrix of Leadership! The dastardly duo of villains intend to use the powerful ornament to take over the world... but when Optimus Prime, Grimlock, and Bumblebee lay down the battle lines, they receive some unexpected help from a trio of Nerf-gun wielding ponies, who promptly lay down a hail of foam fire on the two evildoers.
With the help of Mr. Potato Head, the two villains escape through a nearby portal and the Autobots and ponies give chase. Pursuing their foes through Hanazuki's moon, the heroes are bogged down. Megatron thinks he's made a clean getaway, but doesn't expect to see Optimus Prime and some fresh reinforcements waiting for him on the other side of his next portal! It's all building up to an explosive finale... only for the kids in charge of reenacting the whole scenario to be called down to dinner.
Cobra Commander and Megatron are briefly frustrated by their failure, but Cobra Commander realizes that not even he can stay mad for long looking at cute puppies.

Notes
- This mini-comic was produced for HasCon in September 2017.
Transformers references
- The Transformers characters are based on their 1984 selves, with Bumblebee as a VW Beetle and Megatron as a gun (though they don't transform, the kibble is unmistakable).
- Jazz appears in Kreon form!
Hasbro references
- Optimus Prime notes that he and the heroes caught up with Megatron by taking a shortcut through Park Place, one of the properties of Monopoly.
- Mr. Potato Head a villain? Welllll, aside from his frequent cosplay as villain characters in his own crossover toylines, he did "play" the villain "One-Eyed Bart" during the opening sequences of two of the Toy Story movies....
Errors
- Children are depicted playing with G.I. Joe toys in the modern day.
