INSIRT

INSIRT is a subgroup from the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Intelligence and Notable Surreptitious Information Recovery Team, or INSIRT, is a team operating from the Lost Light. Its duty is to uncover any mysteries that might threaten the ship's quest to find the Knights of Cybertron. INSIRT consists of:

• Chromedome, mnemosurgeon
• Rewind, walking database
• Stylor, backup memory
• Treadshot, hired gun
• Catgut, tracker

Fiction

INSIRT continuity

When tasked with recovering data that could threaten the Lost Light or its quest, Rewind eagerly formed INSIRT with his crewmates Chromedome and Stylor. They went on to hire ex-Decepticon mercenaries Treadshot and Catgut to provide protection and brute force. INSIRT Tech Spec INSIRT's duties took them to the Vestigial Cortical Complex, a Decepticon memory storage facility that Rewind became very excited about. After they located the facility, an impatient Treadshot made a door by way of explosion, allowing Chromedome, Rewind and Stylor to file inside. These events were observed by Rhinox and Heinrad.
