Notes
Continuity notes
Of course, this comic serves to help bridge the gap between Bumblebee and the rest of the live-action film series:
- Simmons devlops his famous obsession with Transformers after this event.
- Soundwave acknowledges Shatter and Dropkick's deaths and their failed attempt to contact the Decepticon Empire.
- Brawn is present on Earth, indicating he was among the Autobots who arrived shortly after Optimus in the first mid-credits scene.
- Soundwave also mentions that he made a bet with Blitzwing to see which of them can reduce a human into at least one kilounit of water.
- It's likely possible that, based off this statement, Blitzwing was a crew member of the Nemesis.
- Rumble is possibly killed by Brawn during the battle, explaining why he does not show up in any of the other movies.
- After the battle, Agent March suggests Simmons to wear a t-shirt with S7's symbol; he will take it very seriously.
- Tom Banachek, Sector Seven's director, appears at the end of the story.
- Aaand of course Project: Iceman is nothing more than.... Megatron, frozen under Hoover Dam. According to Travis Knight a post-credit scene with a frozen Megatron was supposed to have appeared in the movie but was deleted.
Transformers References
- Simmons describes the Transformers as "robots in disguise".
- When Simmons orders retreat, he says "roll out".
- At the end of the battle, Agent March asks Simmons if there could be "more than meets the eye" into the giant robots.
Errors
- How the hell did Brawn transformed into his vehicle form, given that the S7's payload had been activated? This couldn't be an error 'cause Brawn (after pushing Rumble) did not appear anymore with Bumblebee until he follows the S7's convoy, so maybe he could be ran off from the battle.
Trivia
- Really? None of the soldiers noticed a strange military vehicle transforming into an Autobot and later go among them?
