Clobber is a big Decepticon lug. She is close friends with Lockdown, with the two often lamenting their unlucky lot in life together.

Clobber's is obviously designed to be a new version of Lugnut, the fanatically loyal Decepticon from Transformers Animated; however, she was given a new name after Hasbro objected to making a character bearing the "Lugnut" name female for... some reason (perhaps this reason), as revealed at SDCC 2019.^[1] Evidently, this change came rather late; she's still called Lugnut in some of the dubs for non-English speaking markets. Just as Hasbro stated before that Lugnut's design in Animated is inspired by the Hulk, Clobber's design is actually inspired by She-Hulk.
