Talk:Live-action film series
Hasbro cinematic universe
I'm not sure why Paramount and Hasbro's plans to tie these Transformers movies into other film adaptations aren't considered relevant. Thoughts? Alientraveller (talk) 02:23, 17 December 2015 (EST)
- You've misread the news stories - the new GI Joe/MASK/whatever cinematic universe is going to be a separate thing from the Transformers cinematic universe. It's no more relevant to the Transformers film franchise than the existing Joe films. Jalaguy (talk) 07:01, 17 December 2015 (EST)
- Well there's egg on my face. Can we delete this page again? :) --Alientraveller (talk) 07:38, 17 December 2015 (EST)

Criticisms of the movies?
We all know that the movie series is hugely divisive among Transfans. Since the pages for the Unicron Trilogy cartoons have their own "criticisms" sections, would it be fair to add a section for the movie series? Though there should be moderation in place to make sure it doesn't get overly negative and whiny (unlike Transformers Wikia's "Bayformer" page); I, for example, would edit from the perspective of someone who feels sorry for the Bay movie series and only truly enjoys TFTM and DOTM.--Samus Aran (talk) 09:34, 28 June 2017 (EDT)
- I for one have actually written an essay on this. Alientraveller (talk) 13:11, 18 February 2018 (EST)
Update on reboot
The article is currently locked so I'd like to share an update from the brand manager on the status of the sixth main film: "The points that Brian made about the reboot of the film franchise after Bumblebee? For sure, our team is working closely with Paramount and Machinima regarding the next chapter and the product lines associated with that... This is one where we are going to collectively pause, sow for what’s the next best story is and then put a toyline around that. In no way that it distracts us." --Alientraveller (talk) 13:11, 18 February 2018 (EST)
Continuity Notes for the Other Films
I noticed The Last Knight is the only sequel with a "Continuity Notes" subsection. This is my favorite part to read on the Wiki's. Any plans for making ones for the other Sequels?
Operation Skyfire
JP Targete posted his concept arts of the intended spin-off movie taking place in WWII. FigureGunplaFan (talk) 00:41, 6 February 2019 (EST)
According to Transformers' Producer, two new films are said to be in development.
Sequel to The Last Knight in the works [https://www.cbr.com/transformers-last-knight-sequel/ ]
And Sequel to Bumblebee, Buddy-Type Movie, with Optimus and Bumblebee as a duo in the vein of "Lethal Weapon". [1]
Bumblebee needs to be removed
It's not part of the Bayverse, i's an official reboot, and should be treated as such.
