What is the source of the name "Cybertronix" in canon? --KilMichaelMcC 21:16, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

It was originally used by Bob and Larry off-screen, but has made an appearance in Razor's Edge now. Whether it crept into any of the other highly-fan-informed fiction inbetween is not known to me. -LV 21:17, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Looking at the article again, it's obvious the term was used in Razor's Edge. But the lack of storylinks or footnotes to directly indicate such threw me. I knew Bob and Larry had used it. --KilMichaelMcC 21:28, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

Cybertronian Language.

This was on Frenzy's talk since that's where the link was, but it's more relevant here. Should the movie language (about which there's definately material for a decent article) go here, as it IS the only named Cybertronian language, or on a seperate, generic "TF Language" page? Should Cybertronix itself be stricken out and reduced to a subsection of a larger page? Thoughts? -- ZacWilliam (not loged in).

Much as I like the name "Cybertronix", it is definitely not a word that is used exclusively. I think most of the time when people talk about Cybertronian language they just call it "Cybertronian". I doubt there is very much to say about any single instance of language in the TF canon, so a single Cybertronian languages article could probably cover everything. Personally I'd be for throwing around the word "Cybertronix" as much as we can, though, in hopes that it will start to see more use. --Steve-o 23:47, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
It's a good name, but we'd just plain be making stuff up to use it for languages spoken by Autobots and Decepticons. They went out of their way to call Cybertronix the "modern written language" in a piece of Beast Era fiction. -Rotty 23:54, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
I vote for all TF language INCLUDING Cybertyronix being on one page... for now, with an eye to splitting it off into sub-pages. It gives us a place to gather information and see what the overall shape is before making a judgment.
Me, I'm hoping the TF language in the movie is a font, not a fully developed language (and I bet it is.) -Derik 00:20, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, uh, I wasn't advocating making stuff up. Just increasing visibility for the word. --Steve-o 00:55, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
