- The Rebel Alliance is a faction from the Star Wars universe.
The heroic Rebel Alliance,[1] commonly referred to as just "the Rebels", is a faction driving an organized rebellion against the Empire.[2] They have a base called Echo Base[3] and are numerous enough to have their own fleet of starfighters.[1]
Known Rebels include Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, and R2-D2.
