As morning begins, Starscream is excited; with eight new Dinocons, he finally has a chance to slip back into his old scientist role from before the war. Unfortunately, he is unable to find Slugfest and Overkill, the smallest of the new Decepticons. Increasingly worried, Starscream frantically attempts to find them; the largest of the Dinocons, Goryu, hasn’t seen him, and Starscream notices that his speech has become far clearer than before. Starscream calls Soundwave, having him search through the security footage, and suddenly finds a pair of data cartridges. Soundwave reports back, unable to find anything aside from the occasional glitch, but Starscream soon is pulled away as the two cassettes start shaking. Figuring them to be explosives, Starscream ducks, only to find Overkill and Slugfest. The Dinocons have somehow gained an ember, and with it, intelligence and the ability to transform!
