I haven't named myself after the Micromaster. The name comes from a fan character I created back in 2000 or so. I had no idea there was a Micromaster named that, and the name stuck because it fit me so well (I have a poor sense of direction).
I think G1 season 3 was better than the first two. Rodimus was more interesting than Optimus and the plots in general were more varied than the "Megatron tries to steal energy, the Autobots stop it" plot that about 90% of the first two seasons used.
I'm not a completist. I buy what I like. Of course, I become less picky the more money I make. But still.
I think the Leader and Supreme classes should be kept for Transformers that are actually super-duper big. Metroplex, Trypticon, Omega Supreme, etc. At that scale it gets less "playable" because of the sheer mass of the toy, so having an Optimus Prime or a Megatron in that size isn't very fun. It's why I skipped on Energon and Cybertron Prime and Megatron. Used my money to get Megazarak and Superlink Galvatron instead.
Transformers Animated will rule you all. Mark my words. It's got all the good elements of G1 and Beast Wars rolled into one supreme package.
