I-QUEUE has a few more questions for you, and also a history lesson on one Optimus Prime and his friends.

Synopsis

I-QUEUE is ready to proceed further into the Axiom Nexus Cybernet Infocore with you, providing more general questions about the multiverse:

1. In one particular universal stream, how did Quickstrike attempt to win the Beast Wars? A. Used a poison to offline Optimus Primal B. Summoned Starscream's spark to return C. Created the Scorpion Corps and the Cobra Corps. D. Worked with the Vok so they could correct history

2. Which of the Eurythmans worked with the Decepticons to try to overthrow the planet's government? A. Allegra B. Claritin C. Zyrtec D. Zebop Bonus! Who was the leader of Eurythma? A. Bass Forte B. Tempo C. Treble D. Basso Profundo

3. Which starship brought Cybertronian colonists to the planet that would come to be known as Velocitron? A. Hyperborea B. Speedia C. Xantium D. Ogygia

4. Who lead the Constructicons before Megatron brainwashed him and 5 others with the Robo-Smasher? A. Mixmaster B. Hook C. Scrapper D. Hauler Bonus! Whom did a chagrined Megatron appoint leader of the Constructicons after he rebuilt them on Earth? A. Scrapper B. Hook C. Scavenger D. Long Haul

I-QUEUE notes it's never a good idea to annoy a Megatron, no matter what universe you're in, and proceeds to review the subject of a question he previously asked: how, in one universal stream, Optimus Prime started life as a dock worker named Orion Pax, with his friends Ariel and Dion. Their happy lives ended when Megatron came upon their dock and slaughtered the three of them. Fortunately, Alpha Trion saved Orion and Ariel, rebuilding them into Optimus Prime and Elita One. The Elite Guard, meanwhile, found Dion and rebuilt him so that he could fight back against the Decepticons. Prime would eventually learn of Dion's survival just before the invasion of Iacon, where once more, Megatron changed his life forever...

Notes

Transformers references

  • The first question refers to events from the Beast Wars Metals manga, illustrating it with a panel of Quickstrike from the first issue (art by Shōji Imaki). The correct answer is that he created the Scorpion and Cobra Corps; Starscream's immortal spark was seen in Beast Wars episode "Possession".
  • The second is about Transformers episode "Carnage in C-Minor", illustrated with Allegra holding the unconscious Zebop Skandana in her arms. Allegra is the correct answer for the main question, while Basso Profundo is the correct answer for the bonus question; see "Real-world references" below for more information.
  • The third question is about Velocitron, the Speed Planet from Cybertron, and uses a screencap of the planet from "Hidden" to illustrate the question. The Ogygia is the ship that brought them to Velocitron; the Hyperborea, meanwhile, brought Cybertronian colonists to Animatron, the Jungle Planet. The Xantium was the ship of the Wreckers as seen in IDW's Stormbringer mini-series, and a live-action movie version would be seen in Dark of the Moon. Speedia, meanwhile, is the Japanese name for Velocitron.
  • The fourth question is an explanation for the continuity errors between "Heavy Metal War", in which the Constructicons were all new Decepticons build on Earth, and "The Secret of Omega Supreme", where they were Cybertronians brainwashed by Megatron into serving him; specifically, this question applies to the Wings Universe versions. A piece of art with pencils and inks by Casey Coller and colors by Josh Perez of the Constructicons versus their former members illustrates the question, which we will see in full next installment. As seen in "A Team Effort", Hook was the original Constructicon leader; Scrapper was the leader of the Constructicons in the cartoon. Hauler is also visible in the art along with a barely visible Erector; they were retconned into being former Constructicons by their e-HOBBY bio and Hall of Fame bio, respectively; the piece of art originates from Erector's tongue-in-cheek Hall of Fame video. See next issue for more detail on that.
  • The last issue review goes over events from "War Dawn", illustrating it with panels from "Battle Lines, Part 1" (pencils and inks by Dan Khanna, colors by Evan Gauntt and Jesse Wittenrich). The final image is of Prime, Dion, and Magnum from "Battle Lines, Part 6" (pencils and inks by Dan Khanna, colors by Evan Gauntt), in which Dion would be gunned down by Megatron once more, along with Magnum; as alluded to here, Prime was forced to choose one of them to save, and whomever that was, he was rebuilt into Ultra Magnus.

Real-world references

  • The other options for question 2 are "Claritin" and "Zyrtec," brand names of allergy medicine, as Allegra is also the brand name of an allergy medicine.
  • The first bonus question's other options are "Tempo" and "Treble," which are also named for various concepts in sound. "Bass Forte," meanwhile, references Mega Man character Bass and his Japanese name, Forte.
