This gift set contained the "Two-Disc Special Edition" DVD together with Robot Heroes figures of Optimus Prime and Cliffjumper.
Available only at Best Buy in the US.
  • Steelbook case
The "Two-Disc Special Edition" DVD housed in a limited-edition steelbook case featuring the Autobot logo on the front and the Decepticon logo on the back.
Available at Suncoast in the US and Play.com in the UK.
  • Transforming Megatron case
Available at 7-Eleven starting in June of 2009.
  • Transforming Optimus Prime case
Available at Target in the US and HMV in the UK.
This gift set contained the standard single-disc edition together with a bonus disc featuring an exclusive animated version of IDW's Movie Prequel comic book narrated by Mark Ryan.
Available at Walmart in the US and Asda in the UK. The UK version of the set included the two-disc version of the movie, rather than single disc.

Freebies

  • Comic book
Target's transforming Optimus Prime case and Play.com's steelbook case in the UK came packed with the second of two promotional "prequel" comics, later released by IDW Publishing under the title "Planetfall".
  • Digital download card
Free with the first 20 DVD purchases from Circuit City in the US were a cap featuring the Autobot logo, and a digital download card that unlocked 15 minutes of exclusive online behind-the-scenes featurettes, covering the voice recording sessions, prop construction, stunt work, and early CG tests and animatics.
  • Key-chain light
Each DVD purchase came with a free key-chain light at Kmart and Sears in the US.
  • Lithograph
As well as the above-mentioned gift set, a free bonus lithograph of Megatron was also available from Best Buy in the US.
  • Making-of booklet
Purchases of the "Two-Disc Special Edition" DVD from Borders in the US came with a "making-of" booklet.
  • MP3 player
Purchases of the standard single-disc DVD from Blockbuster in the US came with a free MP3 player decorated with the Autobot insignia.
