Over the years, Transformers has found itself in several fast food promotions, most commonly McDonald's.
1985 St. Louis The Transformers McDonald's promotion
In 1985, McDonald's gave away non-transforming, non-poseable figurines of four Mini Vehicle characters, each rendered in six different color variations, in various two-color combinations of red, green, blue, yellow and black. These figures were only available in St. Louis as a test run.[1] The line included:

199? Dairy Queen Generation 2 promotion
In conjunction with Generation 2, Dairy Queen gave away a non-transforming non-posable Optimus Prime figure with its "Kids' Pick-Nick Meals". It came with stickers kids can apply onto the toy that have nothing to do with Optimus Prime.
1996 North American Beast Wars McDonald's promotion

For Beast Wars, McDonald's released four transforming toys, with names very, very accurate to their beast modes. Another toy was sold to the under-3 crowd, as clearly indicated by his name.
1998 North American Beast Wars Transmetals McDonald's promotion

To coincide with the Transmetals subline and the second season of Beast Wars, McDonald's Happy Meals featured three characters from the show who did not get Transmetal toys in the retail line.
2000 North American Beast Machines McDonald's promotion

For Beast Machines, McDonald's put nine different toys into their Happy Meals, representing the characters from the first season.
2001 Australian Beast Machines Red Rooster promotion

Red Rooster opted to release four of the McDonald's pieces for their version of the promotion. Each of the four toys was available in four decos: the toy's original colors, and three versions using the plastic colors of each of the other toys in the set. All translucent plastic from the Happy Meal release was replaced with opaque plastic.
2001 North American Beast Wars Rally's and Checkers promotion
Well after Beast Wars proper had ended, regional chain Rally's/Checkers sold a not-very-good Rhinox toy as part of a broader Hasbro/Kenner promotion.
2002 North American Armada McDonald's promotion

With Armada out in 2002, McDonald's released eight toys to represent select characters from the cartoon. The Decepticon toys could combine into the Mighty Vehicle, while the Autobots could combine into a tall... "totem-pole" Mighty Robot. The toys could act as Mini-Cons to larger, retail-sale toys, and were also capable of having Mini-Con toys attached to them.
2002 Japanese Armada McDonald's promotion

Their Hot Shot's a different mold.
2004 European Energon McDonald's promotion

McDonald's locations in various parts of Europe released four Energon-based Happy Meal toys. These toys were united by a common gimmick of interchangeable light-up "energon cube" accessories.

2005 Cybertron Burger King promotion
For Cybertron, Burger King churned out four toys.
2007 Cybertron Jollibee promotion
Filipino chain Jollibee released a set of four transforming toys under the "Robot Blasters" name, each including a display stand for their robot modes that were also intended to go on top of fast food cups. Their sculpts were based on the Legends of Cybertron figures, with reduced joints.
2007 Transformers Jollibee promotion
To coincide with the 2007 live-action movie, Jollibee released four toys each with their own cop topper stand. As with Jollibee's Cybertron set, these toys were modeled after Legends class figures, though this time hewing closer to the original sculpts. Bumblebee notably features original sculpting, vaguely resembling the 2008 concept Camaro rather than emulating the 1976 Chevrolet Camaro of the Legends toy.
2007 Transformers Burger King promotion

Burger King's Movie tie-in consisted of a set of eight different non-transforming toys, each with its own gimmick.
2007 Transformers Red Rooster promotion

Red Rooster released five toys to coincide with the movie, with varying degrees of transformation.
2008 North American McDonald's Animated promotion

To promote Animated, McDonald's branches in America and other parts of the world offered six toys in their Happy Meals.

- Knock Out (Pushing the grill in reveals two guns from the hood of the car.)
- Optimus Prime (Rotating the figure at the waist causes the left arm to swing up and down.)
- Bumblebee (Pushing down on the figure's door wings causes his right arm to perform a punching motion.)
- Megatron (The right arm features a spring-loaded missile launcher.)
- Starscream (The left arm features a spring-loaded missile launcher.)
- Bulkhead (The left arm features a spring-loaded missile launcher.)
- Breakdown (Squeezing the legs together causes the upper body to spin rapidly at the waist.)
- Optimus Prime (Repeatedly pressing the button on the figure's back rapidly spins his handheld Energon mace.)
- Bumblebee (Squeezing the figure's legs together causes his right arm to swivel up and down, swinging the included sword.)
- Grimlock (Pressing the yellow fin on the figure's back lights up and then fires the spring-loaded missile from his mouth.)
- Sideswipe (Repeatedly pressing the button on the figure's back rapidly spins his handheld Energon blades.)
- Fixit (Rolling the figure forward causes his hands, one of them a drill, to spin.)
- Clampdown (Pressing the button on his left arm launches his claw, which closes when the button inside hits something or is pressed.)
- Fracture (The figure's shoulder-mounted cannon lights up.)
- Underbite (Pushing his hind legs back opens his mouth, and releasing them slowly moves him forward until he jumps, also closing his jaw.)

- Grimlock - Figure has a missile launcher that can be mounted on either arm or on his back.
- Strongarm - Figure comes with a missile launcher. Mask has a flip down visor over the right eye.

2008 Brazilian, Mexican and Venezuelan Animated McDonald's promotion

McDonald's stores in Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela released four Jumpstarter-style pullback toys, all of which were new molds:
2008 French Animated McDonald's promotion

McDonald's stores in France released four of the North American Animated toys with additional paint, and added new toy Blitzwing to the set.
2009 Revenge of the Fallen Burger King promotion

Burger King had a new set of toys released to coincide with the live-action sequel.
2009 Beast Machines Jollibee promotion

Released an inexplicable nine years after the show aired, Jollibee's Beast Machines toys included cube-like display stands with little niches to hold pencils with. These toys were based heavily on the characters' figures from the Beast Machines toyline.
2009 Revenge of the Fallen Jollibee promotion

Jollibee's Revenge of the Fallen toys include three modified Legends figures and one neutered Cyber Slammer!
2009 Revenge of the Fallen Kentucky Fried Chicken / KFC promotion
2009 saw another wave of 4 Kentucky Fried Chicken / KFC toys released in Malaysia and Singapore.
2009 Revenge of the Fallen Red Rooster promotion
2009 saw more Red Rooster Transformer toys released in Australia.
2010 Hong Kong Animated McDonald's promotion
In April of 2010, McDonald's stores in Hong Kong released four of the figures from the US McDonald's Animated promotion:

2011 Japanese McDonald's promotion

McDonald's stores in Japan offered two non-transforming figures as a promotional tie-in with the release of Dark of the Moon, these toys feature proximity-triggered electronic sound and light gimmicks:
Additionally, three rather different figures were available through other promotions. These three "Foodstrap" figures (so called due to the dangling strap attached to each used to hang them off other things) depicted Transformers: Prime characters popping out of items of McDonald's food via spring-loaded push-button triggers. They included:
Bumblebee was available only as a mailaway exclusive in the September issue of TV Boy Magazine, while the other two were claimed by redeeming a coupon obtained with the purchase of a Happy Meal at participating retailers. Bafflingly, these three figures could interact with the new trailer released with the Chronicle Optimus Prime set, which included moulded spaces specially designed to accommodate them in its floor.
2011 Dark of the Moon Burger King promotion
In 2011, Burger King released eight super-deformed figures based on characters appearing in Dark of the Moon. The figures' bodies could be tucked away within their oversized heads.
2012 Transformers Prime McDonald's promotion
In 2012, a set of eight figures was released by McDonald's featuring eight Transformers: Prime characters appearing in their vehicle modes. Each figure had various gimmicks, including spring-loaded missiles, electronic lights or some sort of flip-out compartment.
2013 Transformers Prime McDonald's promotion
2013 saw a second McDonald's promotion featuring the characters of Prime, this time all in robot mode.
2015 Robots in Disguise McDonald's promotion
2015 saw the release of eight non-transformable figures of characters from the Robots in Disguise cartoon.
2016 Robots in Disguise McDonald's promotion
The 2016 Robots in Disguise set consists of eight toys featuring four characters, one each in robot and in vehicle mode.
2017 Robots in Disguise McDonald's promotion
The 2017 RID promotion features four Autobot characters, each of whom get a figure and a child-sized mask. The characters include:

2019 Cyberverse Burger King promotion
2019 Cyberverse McDonald's promotion
2019 Cyberverse/Evergreen Wendy's promotion
Based on super-deformed interpretations of the Evergreen designs, these toys were available with Wendy's Kids Meals. Each non-transformable figure comes unassembled in a bag, which contained a plastic torso with cardboard legs, arms, and interchangeable faces.
