Moustache Man
Mustache Man is a Decepticon holographic avatar in the Movie continuity family.
The Mustache Man is the means in which the Decepticon forces can operate within the military branches and law enforcement agencies of the United States without attracting the attention that an otherwise driverless vehicle would obviously attract. While the Mustache Man can be appear in different uniforms appropriate for the vehicle disguise his owner has assumed, the hologram appears to only have one face. With a fake mustache.
Mustache Man has an icy, piercing stare and the tendency to flicker before his owner carries out an operation.

Blackout projects the Mustache Man as his 'human' pilot when he arrived at SOCCENT Forward Operations Base in Qatar. Sucessfully fooling the human soldiers, base commander Colonel Sharp ordered Mustache Man to power down Blackout and disembark his crew or he would be killed. Mustache Man flickered before Blackout transformed to lay waste to SOCCENT.
Later, after Air Force One was forced to make an emergency landing, Barricade drives up to the plane with the Mustache Man activated, earning not a second glance from the many police officers and secret service agents protecting the aircraft. He reacted to Frenzy's report of his failure to sucessfully access the information they were after with an icy stare.
Tracking down Ladiesman217, Barricade's Mustache Man tricked the human adolescent into believing he was a real police officer. The human recounted his escape from his car that was following him and demanded the Mustache Man exit Barricade. Needless to say, he didn't.
After Frenzy reported the location of the All Spark, Starscream's mustache man flickered and sat in his owner's cockpit impassively as the Decepticon second-in-command ordered the other Decepticons to move out. It is unknown if the Mustache Man was projected during the battle over Mission City.

- The Decepticon holographic avatar is is referred to as 'Mustache Man' in the script.
- Brian Reece is a United States Air Force Major instructing helicopter piloting at Kirtland Air Force Base. He was one of many servicemen who operated the various military equipment that appeared in the movie, and was 'discovered' by director Michael Bay whilst in conversation on set a Holloman AFB.
