Skywarp (Cyberverse)

Skywarp is a Decepticon Seeker from the Cyberverse continuity family.

As the captain of an elite Seeker unit, Skywarp is essentially the bot who's in charge of the troops when the other high-ranking officials are either unavailable or have been killed in action.

When Megatron believed Shockwave had killed the crew of the Ark, he ordered Skywarp to take the Seekers to comb through the ship's wreckage, find the AllSpark, and kill any Autobot survivors they find. The Battle For Cybertron II

Notes

• This Skywarp is female, a departure from most versions of the character, who have traditionally been male.
• Early model art for the character that would become Nova Storm indicates that she was originally planned to be male. Given the purple-and-black colours and her partnership with Thundercracker, it seems this character may have originally been intended to be Skywarp, but the character’s name was changed when it was decided to change their gender to female. Skywarp is conspicuously absent from the first two seasons of Cyberverse, and strengthening this supposition is the fact that this is exactly what happened to Clobber, who was designed as a new version of Lugnut. In any case, it would seem reservations about a female Skywarp ended by the time of season 3.
