Whereas Cyberverse has renamed several characters throughout the series, in show this Insecticon is known as Shrapnel, rather than the frequently used rename of Skrapnel.
Skrapnel's design is heavily inspired by his Generation 1 counterpart Shrapnel (specifically the Legends Class toy mold introduced in Generations).
