T-800
- T-800 units are robots from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Hailing from a war-torn future, Skynet's legions of mechanical T-800 units are robots in disguise... but not in the way that you're thinking! In their base form, these mass-produced androids make up the bulk of Skynet's army, immensely durable soldiers capable of shrugging off most small-arms fire. What really gives them the edge, however, are their infiltration abilities: when sheathed in a layer of vat-grown artificial flesh, these robots are able to pass themselves off as living, breathing humans, right down to their synthetic blood. Although this trick is of negligible use against the Decepticons, it does allow them to be sent backwards in time to carry out "termination" missions without attracting undue attention.

Transformers vs. The Terminator
By the year 2029, Skynet's dwindling armies of un-augmented T-800s and T-8000s had been fighting a desperate battle against the Decepticons for control of the planet Earth, but the terrestrial machines continued to lose ground against the aliens until they were finally pushed back to their last stronghold. There, a group of T-800 robots were tasked with activating a time displacement device and retrieving a suitably equipped infiltration unit; only a Terminator swathed in organic material could be safely sent back in time. With only moments to spare, one such Terminator was able to make it to Omega Bunker, moments before the Decepticons found and assaulted this final fallback position, effectively ending Skynet... but not before the Terminator was able to travel backwards in time to carry out its final mission: destroy the Cybertronians before they could ever awaken.

Arriving in the year 1984 in the hours before the eruption of Mount St. Hilary, the T-800 set about disguising itself, stealing a trucker's clothes after killing him and coercing Sarah Connor to guide him to Oregon using this stolen truck. The pair made it to the volcano, only to discover that they were too late; the volcano had already begun its fateful eruption. Undeterred, the T-800 veered their truck off the road and drove it straight into the Ark, taking the time to shoot down a Sky Spy probe as he did so. Although the crash revealed to a horrified Sarah that her kidnapper was a robot, the Terminator drove their truck right into the heart of the Ark and prepared to kill the recently awakened Decepticons before they could jeopardize his future.
