Sure, some bots may think it was energon power that brought them to life, but Dr. Flaskenstein knows the truth. This mad scientist bot is certain (mostly) that it was one of his chemical concoctions that was responsible for the creation of the Botbots, even if nobody else believes it. In order to prove himself right and have his genius recognized, the doctor has embarked on a series of experiments on non-bot objects, hoping to replicate the effects.

Part of the fourth series of BotBots, Dr. Flaskenstein transforms from a chemical flask into a robot and back.

He is available in all three of the "Science Alliance"-themed 5-packs:

The first set has Incog-Eggo, Peels the Monkey, and Starscope, with Mr. Business Esquire inside the blindpacked portion.

The second has Aday, Loadoutsky, and Starscope, with blindpacked Windbag.

The third has Doc Kit, Eye-Goon, and Grandma Crinkles, with blindpacked Lunchador.

This mold was also used to make Dr. Fraud.

You need to buy one of the first two of these sets (with Flaskenstein and Starscope) in the "recommended minimum buy" setup for a complete set of Series 4 BotBots. It doesn't really matter which, as Flaskenstein and Starscope are the only two Bots not obtained from other sets.
