This character or person needs some sort of visual representation. If you have one, please replace this.

Racer-kun is a speedy robot who can get you wherever you need to be in record time. He wishes to be your friend!

Toys

First Transformers

  • Racer-kun (1986, 1987, 1993)
    • Japanese ID number: C-003
Racer-kun transforms from a Le Mans-style race car into a tall, oddly proportioned robot. He has a (faceless) driver's helmet in his tummy that bobs up and down when his vehicle mode is rolled on a flat surface.
Like all three First Transformers toys, Racer-kun was first released in the United States in 1986 just as the nameless 'Race Car' but received the moniker 'Racer-kun' when released in Japan the following year. Racer-kun was again released in 1993 with new minor paint operations and stickers.
