Dark Horse Comics

Dark Horse Comics is an American comic book publishing house founded in 1986 by Mike Richardson in Milwaukie, Oregon which started out as his own comic book store in said hometown, but due to the amount of funds he received from his business operation, Richardson published two first titles, Dark Horse Presents and Boris the Bear within it's first year.
It is best known for publishing comic titles such as Hellboy, The Mask, Duckman, The American, Trekker, Black Cross and Frank Miller's Sin City and 300. Outside of their in-house titles, Dark Horse is also known for publishing comics based after licensed properties in the likes of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Alien, Predator, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Conan the Barbarian, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Terminator and Star Wars.
