Robert Fredrick Paulsen III (born March 11, 1956) is a formerly bemulleted American voice actor. Among many, many, many roles in his extensive career, Paulsen has been the voice of Yakko Warner from Animaniacs, Pinky from Pinky & the Brain (opposite Maurice LaMarche), Carl Wheezer in the Jimmy Neutron franchise, Tripwire and Snow Job from G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, Gray Fox in the Metal Gear Solid series, Steelbeak from Darkwing Duck and PJ from Goof Troop. Paulsen is well-known for his work with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, voicing Raphael in the 1987 cartoon, Donatello in the 2012 cartoon, and voice-directing 2018's Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

From 2011 to 2019, he hosted a podcast and webseries called "Talkin' Toons with Rob Paulsen" in which he interviewed various voice actors based in Los Angeles, many of whom have provided voices for past Transformers series.

Notes

Although Paulsen was identified on casting sheets as the voice of Chase in "The Rebirth, Part 1", the character does not actually speak in the episode (or any episode). Paulsen can be heard as a voice carried over a P.A. system inside Autobot City, leaving many to assume the one speaking was Chase, but none of us were there. We don't know.

For the June 2014 episode of "Talkin' Toons", Paulsen did a show focused entirely around the G1 cartoon, featuring fellow voice actors Gregg Berger, Neil Ross, Charlie Adler, and Hal Rayle. Jon Bailey introduced the episode in character as Optimus Prime.<ref>Talkin' Toons: Episode 116</ref>
