Marie-Martine

Marie Vergracht, known in France as Marie-Martine (b. ?) is a French actress specialized in dubbing. She started her career in 1952, aged 5 in a film with Fernandel. She had to dub her own lines because the sound was unusable.

She often voices secondary characters in TV series like Dallas, Desperate Housewives or NCIS : Los Angeles.

She is also the voice of Seita and Setsuko's aunt in the French dub of Grave of the Fireflies (火垂るの墓, Hotaru no haka).

• The fact that they did cast a woman to voice Starscream and Shrapnel in The Movie will remain one of the biggest mysteries for French fans.
