The War for Cybertron Trilogy is Hasbro's designation for a segment of the Transformers: Generations line that launched in early 2019. The line aims to serve as a back-to-basics approach to Transformers, with a focus on media accuracy, articulation, and a consistent robot mode scale.

The first instalment of the trilogy, Siege, is set during the final days of the Transformers' civil war on Cybertron, reimagining classic characters to give them Cybertronian alternate modes and battle damage deco. The second instalment, Earthrise, takes place during an interstitial period as the Autobots and Decepticons travel through space, seeing many gain Earthly vehicle modes, while also introducing space-faring characters such as the Quintessons and Mercenaries.

In keeping with instalments of the Prime Wars Trilogy, the War for Cybertron lines feature a unified, line-wide gimmick: weaponry. All figures are now compatible with the C.O.M.B.A.T. System, with Deluxe, Voyager, and Leader Class figures being littered in 5 mm posts to facilitate being armed up with any combination of compatible weaponry.

Replacing the last line's Prime Masters are Battle Masters, small figures that turn into modular handheld weapons and include "Fire Blast" effect pieces to simulate blaster or rocket booster discharge across all price points. Micromaster Teams replace Legends Class; in addition to their own individual vehicle forms, each team of two Micromasters can combine into large weapons.

The C.O.M.B.A.T. System also sees the introduction of Weaponizers and Modulators, Transformers which can be disassembled into a variety of 5 mm compatible weapons and accessories. As the trilogy transitioned into Earthrise, the focus of the play pattern shifted to base modes, introducing the A.I.R. Lock System of connectable ramps and roads to allow kids to create combined battle stations.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy (2020-present)

Launching in conjunction with the War for Cybertron Trilogy cartoon on Netflix, this confusingly-named subline imprint was unveiled by Hasbro at Toy Fair in 2020. With the cartoon featuring character models based directly on Hasbro's toy molds, the toyline in turn features animation-accurate weathering and extensive deco. With the exception of one big-ticket item, the line is exclusive to Walmart in the US.

Deluxe Class

Intended to consist of ten releases, each figure in the Deluxe Class assortment includes a piece of a cardboard Teletraan I backdrop which, once completed, can serve as a display.
