A degenerative disease, atrophosia is similar to Cybercrosis but is brought about by contact with organic lifeforms.

Roughly ten million years prior to 2018, the Knights of Cybertron, the first explorers to leave Cybertron, travelled the galaxy only to discover that most aliens were organic.
