Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (film)

- Transformers 2 is the working title of a planned movie in the movie continuity family.
This page is expected to change dramatically over the next few years (probably including a renaming), but serves as a central location for confirmed information regarding the next live-action movie.
On May 30, 2007, DreamWorks greenlit two sequels to Transformers. The first of the two is currently scheduled to be released June 26, 2009.[1]
Current information includes:
- Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, and Peter Cullen are signed on to return.[citation needed]
- Producer Tom DeSanto has envisioned a storyline introducing the Dinobots, Constructicons, and Soundwave.[citation needed]
- Writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman may not return, as "the next Star Trek is taking up [most] of our time."[citation needed]
- Michael Bay has not signed on as yet, as he is "trying to keep some leverage for the negotiations." He already has ideas, however, including an aircraft carrier character.[citation needed]
- The producers expect that with a bigger budget and the special effects worked out, the Transformers will have a larger role.[citation needed]
