A geophysicist by profession, Professor Serikawa (芹川) is the father of Akira.

  • Serikawa's name was never revealed in actual fiction. It only appears once as part of a story page advertisement for the Zone OVA, describing Akira as the child of "Earth physicist Professor Serikawa".
